Sweet Sixteen Pics!!

Pumpkin Maple Pecan Cheesecake
Wow!! I cant believe it is almost Thanksgivng! This year has just flown by!!

Pumpkin Maple Pecan Cheesecake
Cheesecake:
•1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs (from approximately 12 graham crackers)
•1/4 cup sugar
•1/4 cup butter, melted
•3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
•1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
•1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
•3 large eggs, at room temperature for 30 minutes
•1/4 cup pure grade B maple syrup
•1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
•1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
•1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
•
Maple Pecan Glaze:
•1 cup whipping cream
•3/4 cup pure grade B maple syrup
•3/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
For the cheesecake: Finely crush the graham crackers in a plastic bag with a rolling pin or use a food processor. In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter and firmly press into the bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
In a standing mixer with a paddle attachment, mix the cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually mix in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth. With the mixer on medium, add the pumpkin, eggs, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well and pour into the springform pan.
Bake until the center appears nearly set, but jiggles a little when shaken, 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool for 1 hour. Cover and chill overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
For the glaze: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the whipping cream and pure maple syrup and bring it to a boil. Boil until slightly thickened, 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the chopped pecans. Cover and chill until time to serve. Stir before serving.
To serve: Spoon the Maple Pecan Glaze over the cheesecake

morning, i told you i would make myself stay on top of this posting stuff!! LOL!!!
well since I posted last time my Mommy came home!!!! YAY!!!! we repacked almost immediately then got in the car and drove up to my Grandma's house. We made pretty good time we left about 2 and got there about 9. I got to see my bubby and sissy!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
I missed them lots and lots!! we stayed the night then made the trek to my Nana and Papa's house we got lost once or twice, but we made it safely!!
We BBQ'ed hamburgers and hot dogs Saturday night! YUM! we went to church Sunday morning at TPC with my Nana and papa. Bro.King preached about when your in your place there is grace. we went back home and we just visited, then later my nana and papa's friends Rick and Cindy came over. They're alot of fun! she brought these amazing brownies with graham cracker crust and then a marshmallow layer then some chocoate chips and then chocolate brownie batter!! YUMMY!!!!!!! Papa BBQ'ed ribs and chicken!! Delish and we had some baked beans (that cindy made those were Yummy as well!!!) Nana got this potatoe salad that was Patriotic red white and blue/purple potatoes! that was cool! we ate then we went outside and set off fireworks!! FUN!!! i dont like all the ileglas going off all around us theyre so loud and annoying! it souinds like thunder! aaahhhh! i hate it!
i have had so much fun with my cousin Lexi!!! i miss her when we are never up here. it was so fun last night! we had 6 dogs here in the house at once we had Jackson and Rusty (Nana and Papa's) Annabelle (ours) Baby, Gordy and Bella-Rose (Rick and Cindy's) fun times!!!! well I am going to go nana's making breakfast and i am hungry!!

Finally
Okay, please, please, please forgive me i am so guilty of blog neglect. So i am going to try and be better promise this time!! LOL!!
SO lots of things have been going on in my life recently! First out of school for summer!!! YEAH!!! But i am so excited to start 11th grade!! secondly, we have been traveling a lot we already been to my grandmas twice this summer and we are going again this weekend to pick up my sissy and bubs !!!! YEAH!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!! i miss them like crazy!!
i also miss my mommy lots, she is at junior camp this week :(
we went to see her last night though !! Bro.Joel Buxton preached an awesome awesome message he preached about trusting in God and obeying him not veering to the right nor the left because we Are A CHOSEN Generation!! he had Nate (Nathaniel Cowen his nephew)take his shoes off and his glasses off he then blindfolded him, i didn't know what he was doing at first but come to find out there was a path of set mouse traps, he then proceeded to say you have to trust God and he told Nathaniel to make a big step or a small one and he helped him through his "situation" which God does every time, he snapped one just as Nate was stepping over it because even when God leads us through the devil still trys to snap at us and pulls us his way. AWESOME Awesome Message!! Kids were in the altar getting the holy ghost Monday night and last night!! and wanting to get baptized!! I don't know how many exactly but Thank you Jesus!!!
i am doing french this summer which i mean summer school yuck! LOL! but i wanted learn french so it is not bad at all, because i can do it on my own time and it is something i wanted to do while doing it i am also catching up on credits from when switching schools in 9th grade and i fell behind a little bit.
I am excited because my dad found this free ROP program with Rialto where you go on Mondays you taking cooking classes and then the rest of the week it is open as a restaurant!! i am a little nervous because it is something i want so bad when i grow up! and i don't want to fail at it, but that is how you learn so here i go!
I am so SUPER DUPER expialidociously Excited about PEAK!!!! LOL!!! It was so awesome and such life changing time last year!! I cant wait to see this year results!!! YAY!!! Im just super excited obviously!!! LOL!!
